Fibreglass Front Leaf

Bob, If I recall correctly, you once said that the fibreglass spring eliminates or greatly reduces the "binding" that occurs with the stock steel multi-leaf (without shackles). What's different in the design to facilitate that?

Also, is the 500 lb spring rate far too high for street use? I would presume so. Could they be made with a lower rate, and maybe less drop (say 300 lbs and a one inch drop)? Didn't Gil at OGTS used to sell a fibreglass spring for street use?

It occurs to me that some of these "group buys" might better be facilitated through someone like Gil, so that the volumes might be increased and they can be made available to the greater Opel population. And for a longer period of time. JM2CW
