This was probably imported by a service member stationed in Europe.
Nope, old German guy brought it over when he emigrated to the US.

See these threads, they are telling it all ... besides how it made it to St. Louis ...

Yes, I agree the price is high. It is more than I would be willing to pay. I think at the right auction it might bring a good price. Who knows, in 5 years, it may be collectible?

With its low mileage and the small 52 HP engine it is more a collectible than a driver.

Second Owner Here

Hey guys, thought I'd chime in as the second owner of the car. I purchased the car in late 2008 from the elderly original owner (a German who emigrated in 2002) and sold it about a year later to a collector in Illinois. I drove it nearly every second of my spare time for 8 months, putting over 10,000 miles on the car. I babied it and sold it when I couldn't bear to see it get salty. I missed it terribly for a long time. It has approximately 104,000 miles on it, the odometer has rolled over once. If you have any questions, I'm probably the person that best knows the car! Here's a shot the seller probably won't show you...

Just my opinion, but the Kadett B is a much nicer looking car.

Guess this seller didn't want to show a shot of the bottom of the passenger door either.

Imo the B kadett is really ugly compared to the C version, it's all in the eye of the beholder I assume.

Nothing wrong with either car, I would gladly own a Kiemen coupe with a big CIH. As a matter of fact my first real car was an Olympia A coupe. But I have to admit that the C has a better suspension system than the B.:)
