Interesting. I was thinking about painting or vinyl stripes but I'm a ways off before paint on the car. Could always paint the whole car then add vinyl stripes later if desired I guess.

Some people don't car for vinyl, but it is how alot of the muscle car graphics were done. The nice thing is it is removable, although the paint under the vinyl might show ghosting after removal due to the rest of the paint ageing.

Also, you are not limited to simple straight stripes. Any sign shop that cuts vinyl can cut custom graphics or details in this material as well. One of our members, aside from myself, works in or has a sign shop.

Yep. Have a bag of the White to Blue glow in the dark and a whole bunch of Gun Metal Black Candy.
I'm seriously thinking of the Shimmer Wine Red Candy over the orange on my GT.
Not a heavy coat but just enough to see it gleam.
I've sprayed a lot of pearls over the years.

As a side note. I just finished some Gun Metal Black Candy in what some would find a weird way.
A small project, I sprayed a clear then dumped the candy over that.
Then I hand rubbed it in. I did 2 coats that way.

Tomorrow I'll add more Gun Metal and some glow in the dark to high lite areas along with a few other colors. All that will be air brush work.

There's some crazy pearls out there that can do some wild stuff!
I have a bag of white pearl that glows blue in the dark!
That same company has pearls that are heat sensitive and change colors!

I saw that in PA! dsmith's 3.4 V6!
I've seen this car in person at Carlisle PA back in 2013. I love it but can't stand the centred hood bump. Lol

I have to appreciate the work to move that bump!
I got to see that Opel on a lift then lowered down to really see it.
Fantastic work!
And I got to see what Mike is doing.
Again.
Fantastic work!

Very fancy stuff!
I explored this a couple years ago. Definitely not to be used on a driver. This stuff is fragile and would only work on a show car.
