Speedometer swap

Hello I live in europe and I'm restoring a '70 GT that came from CA.
It has a MPH speedometer in it. There must be US GT drivers that have KM speedometers?

Anyone would like to do a swap?

I was assuming that if a lot of European dashboards are shipped to the US with the KM speedometers in it.

I gan get them easy in holland, but there sooo expensive.

If it works, two people have a good deal!

Yes I'm a greedy dutchman...:)

Very clever!

When caught speeding in holland, you're screwed :(

Actually, I would LOVE to have a metric speedometer, since we are S.I. (System International) in Canada. I have seen them come up on German ebay a few times, but I don't speak German. Now, if you wanted to swap a Metric speedo for an Imperial one, I'd be there for you.

All you need is to purchase the kilometer insert. Look at Lenk Tuning website, they sell a set of white gauge inserts and the one for the speedometer is kilometers. You can order Lenk items from the Source .

Bob;
Is that the actual face plates you have there, or just a picture off of Lenk's site?
