I am in the process of bringing to market some new Opel items for performance and racing use.

Items currently in development:

-turbo exhaust manifold for CIH engines with T25 flange
-Opel GT headpipes for use with 2.4 CIH exhaust manifolds, in 2.25" and 2.5" diameters
-Opel GT headpipes for stock and 1.9 Sprint exhaust manifolds in 2" diameter
-steel deep sump oil pans for original 4-speed CIH transmissions
-Opel GT Delrin AF front suspension bushing kits
-Opel Manta Delrin AF front suspension bushing kits
-baffled CIH steel high capacity oil pans (core required)
-dry sump CIH oil pans (core required)
-fabricated rear suspension trailing arms with heim joints (GT and Manta)
-fabricated adjustable length panhard bars (GT and Manta)
-watts link kit for GT and Manta (core required)
-Manta aluminum torque tube mounts
-"limited prep" big valve 1.9 heads (core required)
-roots type supercharger kit for Manta

Other items that may be reintroduced are the Manta front suspension gusset kits, and the header flanges.

I also have the stainless steel Opel GT battery trays in stock.

Bob,

Any status update on availability of the watts link kit for the GT?
I have the parts to build the pivots. I designed and templated the body mount bracket. However I haven't had them made. Just a matter of priorities. If I spend the money on all the watts link parts, I will likely only sell one or two because they are admittedly not cheap upgrades. So I will "sit" on the remaining parts for a while. I'm trying to finish off the items that sell better first, then use any money made from those sales to pay for the less popular items that are pricier.

I've been trying to get one of those Diff covers for a few months now. The main seller has them for Eu139 but keeps one up for sale on ebay constantly at a much reduced price. I've actaully won one of them TWICE at about Eu90, but then the "won't ship to the US" keeps stopping the sale. I'm currently hoping that Norbert can work his magic and get me one.
Gordon, I bought this one from Velosolex-club-Koeln 1 wk. ago 90 Eur. plus shipping. should help on long road trips to keep the temp. down in the rear end. :yup: Got a lot of car shows this summer. :veryhappy

What about offering a preorder status with payment in advance? I currently know of one customer trying to get a watts linkage soon, looking at Klaus's, but heard it isn't the strongest. Then you would be building what you are making, and not having to stock and make sales.

I still have to stock the custom made pieces, which I have water-jet cut. But I don't order just one at a time, I order in sets of ten or more to keep the cost down per item. Same with the powdercoating, I get a price break in multiples. I agree the labor can be on a per-item basis, as well as much of the heim joints and hardware.
Next on my list of parts I'm having made:

I'm having some 1/2" thick aluminum one-piece intake flanges water-jet cut. They are for the low- port heads, and are designed to clear my header flanges from a few years ago.

Price will be $42 for the flange "as-is", or $48 for the flange with the hold-down bolt areas machined to 12 mm thick to match a standard exhaust manifold thickness.

This item is perfect for those do-it-yourselfers who want to fabricate their own intake manifold from scratch. As I am doing to fit a 450 CFM Holley 4-barrel to an Opel GT drag car.
These parts are now done and are getting shipped to me today. They should be in my hands next week after I get back from FL.
Another couple of items that are essentially figured and priced out but will have to wait for funding are a tubular steel 1.9 "sprint" exhaust manifold, and a fully fabricated oversized GT headpipe. Either would be compatible with OEM components. I would expect the tubular Sprint manifold to offer a noticeable weight savings over the hard to find cast iron Sprint manifolds. There will also be a divider with separate runners at cylinders # 2 and 3, unlike the original siamesed design.
Bob, what's this going to cost when you start offering them? What about a complete exhaust system, is there any plan for one?

Price isn't set yet. I haven't built any nor have I built a jig fixture yet. It's just on my "to do" list.

I don't think I will go beyond the headpipe itself. I thought about making a full system previously but building the rear resonators is very labor intensive.

"Shipping:Will ship to United States. Read item description or contact seller for shipping options."

Sent email to Seller on Nov 8, 2013, asking if he would ship to USA, and he did not not reply.
Decided that I needed to spend $200 on a different purchase.
He (Hermann Leidinger himself) answered me back within two days over the weekend. Shipping cost is 36 Euro per DHL. So the total price is 140 Euro minus 19% sales tax plus 36 Euro shipping = 153.64 Euro or 209 US$.

I don't think these covers are really going to do much for a cooling effect, so much as just a cool effect. They look good, a customer sent me one that makes a little more sense, it has an increased fluid capacity. I believe it is from ATS in Germany. From where I have seen some temperature decals for monitoring the temps back there, they are placed near the pinion areas, so I imagine a majority of the heat is created in that area

A few pics of the low port (1.5-2.0) CIH intake flanges.

Price is $42 for the flange "as-is", which is 1/2" thick. $48 for the bolt area milled to 12mm thick (.472") to match an OEM intake or exhaust flange.

Bob, ordering/payment info? I'd like to get one of the $48 ones. I can also supply a UPS shipping tag

Greg - Keep it clean!

As far as the flanges go, water-jet cutting is amazing. Perfect accuracy with no machine marks.

Trying to get back up to speed!

Making shop progress, still have a bit to go though!

I finally got the new shelving unit in place on my back wall (recently painted). It's big enough to hold 32 seventeen-gallon plastic bins, with room underneath to store 8 complete Opel engines. It should help to unclutter my shop quite a bit.

Seems there a lot of us trying to make the most out of the winter season and improve our shops. I hate working in a cluttered environment too

Btw, since you now have your own forum section wouldn't be an idea, perhaps even a good one, to let each of your projects have it's own thread ?

This thread is more about the items I make to sell rather than my personal projects.

...and for those of us who know about your stuff we click on it every time we see a new post but some of the new arrivals around here could get in the middle of a page where nothing special is going on and not realize that this is your ad so to speak

I would have started a new thread for each new item you want to sell, easier for those looking for something interesting than browsing through 8-10 pages
