This is a public announcement out to all the members and Opel owners in the Tri-State area, Delaware Valley, Philadelphia & suburbs, etc ...

Do we actually have an official Opel Club/Association? If we do are there any meetings? I am interested in being involved if a group is already started. If not, I would like to propose that we formally form this group if any are interested? If there is already a contact person, please let me know who you are with your information: email and phone number.

I know that there were emails circulating as to who would be interested in being on a TOO (Tri-State Opel Owners) member list. Has this list been constructed? If it has, is it posted anywhere or on this site?

Hello Francis:
I guess I am the unofficially official group organizer here. We had a gathering at my home last October, and another in North Jersey at Marc's home in November. I am trying to kick start it again, but so far not much of a response.
I live in Hatboro, but am in your area frequently as my daughter and son live with their mom in Brookhaven. Do you know Cliff Price ? He's working on a GT in Media.
I will e-mail the gang individually to see if that gets 'em going ! There are quite a few of "us" in the area
I have a 73 GT, third owner (since 1980), original paint, 48k miles, and a 75 Manta that is in relatively good condition (all things considered). My first new car purchase was a 74 Manta Rallye - I wanted a GT, but 73 was the last year for them. You can check out some photos of our October meet in my photo album (I'm pretty sure they are all noted as T.O.O., or something similar).

We have a great group of guys in the T.O.O area. I have a '72 GT, third owner. Owned it since 1983. I'd like to get some people together in Sep/Oct.

I'm located in Salfordville, PA(just above Harleysville, PA). I'm about 45 minutes from you. There is another GT in the area, but he is selling his. It is the V6 GT in the "For Sale Ad" section of this web site.

Rick and I got together this past June for a Car Show. We both have our area of expertise and together we are a little dangerous .
