Miata seats

I've read several posts about putting seats from a Miata into a GT. Is there a specific year range that works best or all they all pretty much the same fit?

I got a set of Miata seats off Ebay last year. Haven't had a chance to install them yet. Do a search trapper, I think mine were from a 81 or 82. Here's the thread I kept. I just bought a set of 1997 Miata seats - leather with the speakers in the headrests - perfect condition. They fit perfectly. Got em for $100 out of a wrecked Miata in a salvage yard. I think any year seats will fit - all Miatas are roughly the same size - small.

$100 for leather seats, you got a great bargain.
