Took off steering wheel to determine why Horn did not work and found that there was NO internal horn ring present!!! In the Opel GT Steering Column maintenance pdf it is referred to as item "I= Brass Horn Ring, Internal" in the exploded view.

Does anyone have one of these? Could someone take a couple of dimensions/pics of their ring?

Here is what you need, the brass ring, horn pin, springs and bolts, how does your horn button mount ?

I have all of those components, thank you very much for your reply!

I need the INTERNAL ring which connects to the brown wire (it is what the black plastic with springs in it and conductors on the end rubs against, to conduct the grounding of the horn, which is shown in your picture).

It is a brass or copper circular plate with some kind of plastic insulator which holds it off of the steering wheel column. It sits between the steering wheel and the turn signal ring.
