scale 1 : 24 plastic
Is that one of those "Ruckspiegel" kits?
Nice

Neat bit of photography - they both look like full size cars!

Yep thats the one
There's a site that has the Sedan, Wagon and the Manta A, but, they're going for 57 EUROS, is there any place cheaper to get these kits? I would love to have at least one of each.
Gene
I payed about 40 euro's for it, but that was about 5 years back, so actually 57 euro's isn't that expensive.
Hallo

forum appears to be cool. Are there any Ascona C owners?
Interested in restauration or maybe innovations?

Waiting for reply!

Nice job with the model! It looks just like the lifesized car.

Hello :lmao:

Yep I have an Ascona C - a hi-performance hatch-back!
It has the 2.0i SEH motor and is frontwheel drive.
What do you have?

There should be some smoke coming out the model's exhaust, like the 1:1 in the background!:veryhappy
what paint do you use for these , i know that car paints from a rattle can or mixed and sprayed are too big a partical to look right for scale
i have found that paint for motor bikes is finer and looks more to scale
the Z28 is car paint ,the big daddy top fueler is motor bike paint
i think it shows :veryhappy

I just used a rattle can for cars it's about the closed I could get with out going to a shop to mix the color, and while the paint is not shiney I put on som gloss spray paint also a rattle can for cars.

Hi,
Is this site that sells these 1:24 Opel kits still around?
I'd be interested in obtaining one or two but a google
search turned up nothing.

Thanks,
Mark
Mark;
The company that makes/made them is called "Ruckspiegel" There is a on-line model site that sells these, but, I don't have the link on this pc. Mostly you'll find these kits on the German Ebay.
