I've just replaced the oil pan gasket and I'm in the process of putting everything back together. All the engine support bar bolts have gone back into place except the one on the passengers side (to the right of the exhaust). Any suggestions on how to get it back in place without removing the whole manifold system?

Graham,

Good to see you back on-line! So, which bolt are you having trouble with? Is it the nasty little bolt that attaches to the inside of the tunnel (shown by the top left hand arrow)? Usually you can get this in place without resorting to dropping the exhaust manifold, but sometimes you have to pry the cross member around a bit to get the holes to line up.

I've taken the weight off of the mount, via lifting the engine a little, and was then able to position the bolt holes without any problems.
