racing tires
Ron, I was going to suggest you get one of the racing guys to sell you a used set of racing tires, as they tend to hold up better in storage than regular tires, but I found something else I think you (and the rest of us) should jump on instead.
Tire rack currently has Kuhmo Ecsta V700 175/60-13 racing tires listed at $37 each. This price is so strangely low as to make me wonder if it is a typo, but I think they would be perfect for your car. Sure they're a little short, but man they'll be fun to drive on and the price is pretty darn good....
