O.K. Folks, you are all pretty much aware of the engine/tranny mod I'm waist deep in, a 95 Camaro 3.4 V-6 with a 92 S-10 T-5 tranny. Last week I finished polishing one of the wheels and had the old tire put on it. Yesterday that tire was flat, so I pumped it back up and today it's flat again. I know I'll need new tires and wasn't going to get them until after the car was done, but that's out the window now. I've got to get at least one tire. So here's the question for all you folks, knowing the engine and tranny going in the car, and for good handling and traction using a 6 inch wide 13 tire, what's a good tire to put on my GT? All input will be considered. TIA.

I guess I should have added the size tires on the car now are 185 X 70 X 13, and on locked hard right or left they do rub the fenderwell just barely. I'm not that much up to speed on the aspect ratio so I'm going to guess that the 205 X 60 X 13 will be a little taller tire and may aggravate the tire rubbing. Also the speed rating of the tires may be a little low for what I've got as a possible top end. Still looking for suggestions, although the ones I've got so far have been good. Thanx, I really need the input.
