Hey guys what a difference new engine mounts have made on my 72 GT!!!
My old mounts had basically turned to stone (rock hard) and had settled 1" on the left side and 1 1/8" on the right. When the car idled the panel and center console would rattle and make noise until you got the car up to about 35 mph, but not anymore :D

No doubt.
Back in the 80's hard to find parts days, I tore a mount. I used an old trick of welding it up solid until I could find one. OK for the big V8's I used to do that to, but in the GT... Bad idea. At 1500 RPM would just about rattle all the fillings out of your teeth!
