I did some reserch an found that the Saturn L series is based on the Opel Astra. The 2.2 liter 16 valve 4 cylinder and the V6 are Opel motors. The Cadillac Catera is just a re-bedged Opel Vectra.

So a Question. Will the Saturn 2.2 bolt up to the 4 speed trans of a Opel 1900? I have no idea is why I ask. This could be a good source of parts in the future maby.

Maybe better, will the Catera's overdrive automatic hook up to the Opel 1900? Or perhaps the entire drivetrain into a GT or Manta? Hmmm

Wish I had some $$$ to play with. It would be nice if the 3.0 Catera V6 and trans would drop in with out cutting the car. Its narrow looking.
