I was just thinking the same thing. I wonder if he knows this car/seller.
No engine bay, undercarriage pics, but the interior and exterior look nice.

The body and trim look to be in great shape. Wheels and tires compliment the bodywork. I really like that color too. A few of things that may keep the bidding muted: auto, seats and door cards are an acquired taste; dash is probably baked, no engine bay photos.

I'd be willing to bet underneath is all original, Definitely original leaf spring up front, rims and tires are brand new.
But very nice looking gt, I'm a little on the fence with the rims, Not that they bad on it but from a cleaning aspect I bet it's time consuming.
I'll keep an eye on this one to see what and if it sells for

I really like that color too.

The seller lists the color as "Mazda Orange" but it really looks like Opel Rallye Orange to me.

The orange has some pearl mixed in, the sun really brings it out.
It might be the low profile tires along with the paint but from the side and 3/4 angle it gives the illusion of a longer wheelbase.

Ya the description says they are "replacement rims" they look like something Gordo would wear on his head.....LOL.

Has anyone ever looked to see if EMPI part # 98-8658-B is the same fuel sender the Opel GT uses?

My 69 GT uses the tube type sender, like this: https://www.opelgtsource.com/search/3468/details

Agree with Bob. I could probably live with the exterior color (although Orange is not at the top of my list) but that interior is a great example of customizing to your own taste in such a way as to alienate a lot of potential buyers.

This morning the seller has posted this on several of the FaceBook Opel GT groups, with a lot of pictures. The engine bay shows mostly stock but restored condition.
