I´m in search for a GT and I´m going to put in a Record V6 instead of the 1900cc engine, I´m also thinking about putting some nitrous oxide into the blast. Has anyone had a go at this before?? Any suggestions what to do/not to do...?
Keep me posted on your NOS attempt. As I completely rebuild and bore out my 69 Split bumper, I too will be reviewing a limited NOS System. With a quality race mechanic and one with an Opel background, this is probably quite feasable. I am confident that the German 4cyl will out perform the Jap Crap. I may have to settle for the Solex Side draft carbs which won't dissapoint me in the least. Remember to keep your brakes in top shape or upgraded. A loss of a GT is a Terrible thing.
