I would recommend you put this in the classifieds and it wouldn't hurt to send it to the Texas Opel yahoo group as well.
Pictures are a big plus, and some more information about the car.
Weather forcast is Sunny with highs of 89 and 85 for Saturday and Sunday.
Looks like good Opelin' weather to me!
Better Late Than Never Event Results

The Octoberfest in Texas, was hosted by Dieter and Kornelia Sedlmaier of Meridian, Texas. We had a great time along with a good turn out of 18 Opels, and one non Opel. The head count was about 30 members and family. More than enough to fill the Autobahn Restaurant. We raffled off T- shirts donated by Bob and Jan Tidwell who also donated our 2nd and 3rd place ribbons, there was also gift pack from OGTS, Rodney and Tyressa had a little bit of everything to add to the items being raffled off including a model Opel GT and Opel Key-rings, there was some Car Detailing items donated by Mike and Phyllis Brown, and others contributed also.
This was our Trophy Meet for the year also, First Place Trophies were made and donated by Rodney and for those who did not attend here are the results of the Judging by the people: Peoples Choice, 1st Place / Richard and Patty Stephens, 2nd Place / Dieter and Kornelia Sedlmaier, 3rd Place / George and Angie Rust. Best of Show, 1st Place / Richard and Patty Stephens, 2nd Place / Dieter and Kornelia Sedlmaier, 3rd Place / George and Angie Rust. Longest Distance Traveled By An Opel, 1st Place / David Fish, 2nd Place / Evidar Lindmoin, 3rd Place / Mike Oden. The TLC AWARD went to Tom McAndrews.
Gil and Dennis from OGTS regrettably could not make the meet as planned, due to a business trip to Europe to get us Opelers more parts.
And if I could ask that those who did remember to grab their cameras post a few pictures, I ran off and left mine in the truck, thanks.:D

I came home with the 2nd place Best of Show, that's it, and I have no idea who Patty Rust is!

Also, I got an email from Tom McAndrews, Monday, right after the meet, he was hit by a teenager in the GT and it was totalled. He is OK, but the TLC is RIP.
I will downsize my pics and post them to the Texas Opel folder.

Sounds like some people had a REAL good time.
" What lipstick? I don't know how that got on my shirt. I really was a business meeting, Honey."
Well I took my wife and kids with me. As you can see in the picture, http://www.opelgt.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/7107/cat/3044 Otto is flirting with my wife.
Right in front of my kids too!
Well age must be catching up, all I could do was guess that I remembered who won what and who was running with whom, the note taker fell down on the job when assisting me with passing out the Trophies and had passed the duty on to RS, so I did the best I could for what memory that I had left or was it right. :p
