Have you checked ebay? There were a lot of “bad” gas caps on there. And a few good ones. So you don’t want to buy brand new parts? It might be hard to find somebody wanting to sell a good og splash pan. Usually those are only found on rust free cars like my yellow 72. And most people don’t want to cut up their rust free car.

Also the European Gts had 3 point seatbelts? I know the 73s did but did easily cars in Europe have them too?

I think you'll have a hard time trying to find original seat belts and even if you do, they would be 50 years old. This is one item where I think it would be smart to have a custom set made for you or use a similar set already made. I have a few photos of GTs that appear to have the original buckle with a plastic cover for the strap.

Finding that belt buckle will be the challenge. There are Corvette seat belt assemblies that are close...

Yes, those are the original ones. And they don't look like the seat belt buckles in a Chevelle. I've looked at tons of aftermarket reproduction seat belt buckles and nothing looks like them. The original buckles are short and rectangular, with black plastic all around them.

This is the closest I can find but they aren't correct.

Same company makes a GT/J non-locking version that also fits on the GT valve cover.

If you're trying to restore a GT to how it looked when it left the factory in Bochum, close enough is not good enough. He would need to buy an old set and then have the seat belts remade with the correct buckle assembly. Trying to buy a pair of original seat belts could be a challenge. Heck, I'd buy a pair just to have to correct seat belt buckles.

Not going to give up what I have, but if you contact people selling "parts or parts cars" you can usually come up with a rebuildable set. Plan on doing a lot of scrubbin to get all the mold off the belts....LOL. If you're careful, the retractor springs can be cleaned, and re-wound and the alarm switch can be repaired as well. Just be careful with the spring if it comes out, it can cut the hell out of your fingers.

That photo is from ATZ I think. I don't think those are the correct seat belts. They don't have the correct shape and use a pull latch instead of a push to release latch.

there is a difference between the usa and european seatbelts.

They are correct for the european version with the pull to release. The usa version had a push to release.
the euro version also did not have the alarm switch.
below is the setup i need. The hooks on the b pilars are on my gt. Just need all the correct hardware for the belts.

It wouldn't be an exact reproduction of the European seat belts, but it would be very very close. The 3 point in your photo is a rather interesting design because it has 3 anchor points for the outside belt. That would take some creativity to replicate. It's like a retractable seat belt assembly but without the retracting mechanism.

i can have a look at this. But the original had just a hook on the b pilar to hang the belt when not in use and 2 anchor points for the outside belt. This was for an easy reach to the belt. There is a hole in the metal part that clicks in the belt to hang on the hook. In the zoomed version of the picture you can see the hook.

I think you'll have better luck trying to find an original seat belt set over in Europe than on this site. Most of our members are from the US and most parts cars are US spec GTs. You could try Suselbeek, I know they have parts cars but you might be stuck creating a reproduction set that gets you very close.
