Fellow Opelnuts
1) Is there a way to bench test a fuel pressure regulator from a 1975 FI 1.9 Opel. I have two used regulators.
2) Is there a new inexpensive replacement regulator that will work ?
Thanks in advance

What does it look like? Threaded connectors or hose? Here is a replacement on eBay for $60. B06XTZB16P

I found an NOS 1975 Opel fuel pressure regulator a few weeks back. Of course I don’t recall where I put it…

I'm suspect of the one on the car because when I tested the fuel pressure it shot way above 50 psi but I have two other used pressure regulators from a 1975 system I got some years ago but before I go through the trouble of putting it on the car I was wondering if there's a way to test them off the car

Yes it looks just like that but when I tried researching that it came up under naturally aspirated carbureted with low pressures
