I am new here....I once owned an Opel GT....one of the best cars I eer had....question? What was the last year the Opel GT was buildt and shipped to the US....1973?

yes, I'm quite confident that 73 was the last year.

Yes '73 was the last year BUT some of the later models of '73 came with a title that read 1974. (Just a piece of trivia I picked up while looking around)

i would have to say 74 also because my boss who worked for a buick dealership swears he had a ac equipped auto 1974 opel gt

yup the '74 was made in '73 its so you think you have a new car for longer, they release them in august of '73 and they call them "74's simple as that.
