most GTs have brake light inside and turn signal outside. altho my 71 GT and other 71's i've seen are just the opposite, brake outside and signal inside.

Check the forum section. I asked the same question on my 72 GT.
By the way my 72 has brake lights on the outside and turn signals on the inside.

Stock is:

Amber directionals on the outside

Red brakes on the inside

Stock position is kinda one of the reasons the LED lights in the vent openings is an appealing option to get from Destec. When I get further down the road on my kinda restoration/V-6/T-5 mod, I'll probably be contacting JJ after I hear from the folks that are doing that mod.
