I was thinking about it, but I dont if there is enough space for it...
Has it ever been done, and do you think it can be ?

I have seen your threads out there, you are brilliant but haven't seen anything recently. I do hope you're still following, your advice on headwork is fascinating.
Yup, not too much since fall of 2015 when I closed down my shop and started preparing for a move out of state. House is bought, I'm living in it, but all my tools and cars and parts are in storage in my old state, about 100 miles away.

Once I've had a new shop built on my new property, I'll be getting back into things.

If you start at post #362 in this thread, there is a GT turbo kit buildup amidst other projects.

Or if you go to my Flickr photos page, I have a dedicated album for the GT turbo kit.

I also recently started a page on Facebook, but haven't gotten too in depth yet.

I don't know if you realized it or not, but this thread is 15 years old. Just figured I would mention it.
I didn't. I only saw it was an active topic. Thanks for the notice.
The twin turbo's would need to be really small.
One and four paired
Along with two and three
Kind of like volvo been doing for years.
The 1.8 ohv block was the same block as became the 2.0 dohc 16valve the 2.0xe or with turbo 2.0let and this is why the 1.8 getrag close ratio gearbox fits.
You just have to change the clutch plate, carlton turbo diesel and others, and modify the shifter and propshaft. This gearbox is apparently a bit weak, especially with a turbo. But then again so is the stock axle for hp over 200.

The other gearbox I believe from the omega also fits but is physically much bigger so you may need to modify the gearbox tunnel.
It is also harder to modify the shifter set up, but it can be done.

Belhousings are also available to fit a ford type gearbox that is cheaper with a better gearbox and upgrading selection. I think Burton Power UK that deals in fast ford parts may be able to help with this set up.

If you are thinking mega power then the American Tremec T5 gearbox can be made to fit, with a modified 4 speed opel gt gearbox bellhousing, and others, check out this site.
