I was just watching CNN news, and the story citing significant monetary losses at GM pointed towards Opel being the hardest hit, with potentially thousands of jobs being lost in order to cut costs. Not good to hear...

A few days ago I heard a similar blurb on Public Radio. I believe that they mentioned Opel, Vauxhall and a third name, maybe Saab.

GM stated on Thursday 10,000 Jobs would go in Germany. It would appear that Bochum would be hardest hit.
A spokesperson stated ,“If we don’t do something now, the future of a place like Bochum is very bleak.”
