I just returned from a trip to Europe....Germany, France, Netherlands,Belgium etc and got to catch up on my Opel sightings. Saw many older and newer models......no GTs or Mantas tho. Even saw a GM transmission plant in Strasburg France that I assumed makes automatics for the Opels.

Most of the Opels seem very similar to the other cars, VWs etc.....except one that I'd never heard of that looks new and somewhat larger (also had dual exhaust).....a Signum. Am attaching a couple pictures that were taken under an awning so there is alot of reflection.

Looks Good

That picture looks almost like it was taken at a dealership, with that flawless reflection from the paint. What do you think the chances that is a RWD car. That 2.0turbo would be a nice set up if it would fit into a GT. What do you think about 180 hp dropped into a GT with no cutting or other such mods? I can dream can't I? :D Hey maybe Saturn could import another Opel.
Just for fun,
Shawn

Just been stationed here

Well, I just moved to Germany. You are right lots of Opels. I have seen two GT's and I have been in touch with a few others over here. Kinda funny thing happened to me. I brought over a 89 Buick, and someone stuck a message on my car asking if I would like to join the Buick club over here. :p

well sorry to say but the chance it is a RWD is none. cause in europe \real performance cars have RWD, and a few others, but rwd is very rare around here in new cars. and a signum doesn't have that for sure cause its a family car.
