I just wanted to thank Paul and Lezlie for bringing us "Mid-westers" together every Summer
over the last 10+ years. The gatherings up in Colfax, along with the get togethers in Springfield
were always the highlight of my Opeling season. I doubt I would have met most of the local Opel owners
were it not for Paul (aka the "Mayor of Colfax" :veryhappy )
I could never replicate what he created, but I wonder if there is any interest in moving the party a little
further south, here in Zionsville IN? I live in a small town, so there is no "yard" to speak of, but we have some excellent
parks, or we could tie it into our local car show and "Fall Festival" Lots of stuff for the kids and spouses to do
while the Opel-heads hang out. Let me know what you guys think.
