While under my dash on my 70 GT trying to plug back in my brake switch, I heard a pop and now my left side parking lights won't turn off unless I pull the fuse. I have tried to locate any possible short but can't seem to track it down. All the wires seem to be pliable still. No cracks in the casing under the dash. Help anyone?

Thanks!

this sounds really stupid and odd, but see if your turn signal stalk got bumped at all. if you turn the car off with the signal stalk on either left or right, the parking lights for that side of the car will stay on when the key is off.

parking lights

I did this when parking once and Jared is right. Did all of your lights work before the incident as ALL of the parking lights should be on I believe if the turn signal lever is up or down and the ignition off.

That was it. Didn't notice that the turn signal was on. Had the fuse out of the stop/turn lights also and had not put it back yet. Thanks guys!
