I'll look to see if I still have oneI need the exhaust part of the intake or just the entire intake/exhaust portion! here in salem! trying to get it used I know I can go with different headers and exhaust stuff from OpelGtSource, mine has botched bolts but I'm not trying to spend all that money if I can find a used one ofc lol
Appreciate it! Just needing one to start my 2 liter I just put it in soI'll look to see if I still have one
No worries! I'll keep on my hunt lolSorry guy,
I really thought I had one but I didn't see it in my pile of Opel stuff (aka my garage).
I think I have one ~ I'll dbl check this eveningNo worries! I'll keep on my hunt lol
I have the orig 1.9 exhaust manifold from my 73 gt removed at 100k miles, still married to the intake, and with downpipe still attached but cut about 6" after the Y. Also have a stock unused downpipe-to-muffler for gt. PM me if you'd like to check it out. - DanI need the exhaust part of the intake or just the entire intake/exhaust portion! here in salem! trying to get it used I know I can go with different headers and exhaust stuff from OpelGtSource, mine has botched bolts but I'm not trying to spend all that money if I can find a used one ofc lol
If you're still looking... I've just put a new shorty header from OGTS on my 72 GT and have the exhaust manifold separated from the intake sitting in my garage. Have no idea what a fair price might be for it. Maybe the seasoned hands can help there? I'm in Dallas, Tx, btw. It's a little crusty, but certainly serviceable. I cleaned up the intake and valve cover with a vapor hone and they look like new. Didn't bother cleaning the exhaust manifold, though. It's heavy and shipping's probably not gonna be cheap. No worries! I'll keep on my hunt lol
Hey I'm definitely interested, hmu with a price don't want to end up paying what I would just pay for the nice shorties ofc I'm just trying to get it so I don't crystalize anything yk lolIf you're still looking... I also have 2 parts GTs that I tried to save intact from a Gas Monkey Garage publicity stunt, but I knew they were doomed as soon as I got there to try to buy them. Rawlings ran them over right down the middle of both nose-on at the same time with a big yellow monster truck. One is a '70 1.9L and the other is a '69 1.1L. I wanted to save and restore them both, but alas that was not meant to be. But he did ultimately just give them to me for getting them off his lot. No problem!Got lots of useable parts, including a nice tinted windshield, chrome gas cap that is better than the one on my '72, a new bumper, a lot of good metal that'll go into my '72, and both drivetrains. The interiors were too far gone to really be useful. Here's the video of the carnage, if you're interested:
Wow I didn’t know that one of the Gts has a 1.1L That is too bad. Are you trying to sell the parts off of them?If you're still looking...
