Do you know if they use the same mechanism to roll the side windows up and down?
gt window regulators

do you need regulator for your gt I've got a spare set of doors that could pull them out of
Dennis
What color is the interior? And is it a Luxus? I need some really odd parts.
74Manta

The interior is tanish in color, But let me start the list. The seats, rugs, dash, headliner are rotten. The front door panels look maybe cleanable the instrument clulster and controls do work.Glass is all there. Exterior chrome trim looks more like the alumimum bumpers Front fenders are solid not rusted thru, drivers is dented. Passengers has surface rust along with the doors and the front nose panel. The valance is in very nice cond. Inner fenders are good, except where the battery box wasn't Boy I'm I getting wordy I don't talk this much in a week .

Is this the same Manta that was being parted out in EBay a while ago that i purchased numerous parts from already?
no

No, pobably not. This is the one that nhopel and I dove to NC to get a cuple of weekends ago. Sad to hear it's being parted out, even the front "frame rails" looked perfect.
Manta

Good to hear from you , the further I dug into the body it became clear that this was better off being a donor , top of the roof behind the windshield rotted thru under the back seat ,inside top of the rockers . And the dig goes on

What kind of condition are the sun visors in?

Paul
If it has a clock in decent condition I would be interested
I'm looking for a good pair of "half-full" tail lights -- the style used on the '73 GT. Red one half, amber on the other.

manta rear end gears

is the manta final gear bigger or the same size as the gt gears and will they fit into the rear end of a gt?
rearend gears

I would like to answer that question , but I don't know the answer . I'm betting that many people in this group have the right answer. But if you need gears for a GT I've got a spare set.

Dennis
All I know is I have my drivers side window adjusted all the way back, and it still does not go up straight.
rear end gears

well i was looking in to getting larger gears for my gt when i picked up the five speed hopfully to get some more power
was the 74 efi, or did that happen in 75? If it is EFI, I'd be interested in the distributor and any of the electronics, including the fuel pump and connector.
oklaopel
OK. The one part I most definately need would be the hazard switch that is on top of the steering column. And how is the front left fender? Any others I will be able to figure out better once the snow melts here.
Valance Still Available

Dennis,

I believe I talked with you at Carlisle (I was buying a hood from John Grosh for my Manta) and you showed me the gold/yellow sheet metal parts stuffed in the back of your vehicle? Am I correct?

Anyway, I am not certain if I will be going forward with buying the new lower valance for my Manta from Charles, mostly due to timing. If I do decide to buy the valance from you, how much do you want for it and do you have any idea how much shipping would be? I could kick myself now for not taking advantage of the chance to get it from you then, but I thought the turn signal mounting for my '72 was different than what you had. Since then, I have looked at it more closely and think it would be a match.

Of course, if you are not the person I talked with, my apologies, but I am still
interested. I would just want to see photos of the valance before proceeding.
This was my first time at Carlisle for any event and it was a bit of a whirlwind for me since I was only able to be there on Saturday.

Sorry for the inconvenience of making you haul the part back to New Hampshire and I will look forward to hearing from you soon. In the mean time, I will contact Charles and find out for sure the status of his order from Germany so I can give you a firm commitment or not.

Thanks,
