I am wondering if anyone would have any info on my GT motor that has a metal stamp just under the distributor, attached to the block, with the words power-pac on it. I am assuming it is some kind of upgrade. Thanks, Mouser
the guy i bought the car from did say the motor was rebuilt. the metal stamp has some kind of serial number. i believe he said this was done somewhere in california. as far as it being the ignition it all looks stock to me. the only visible difference is the carb, weber, and the exhaust manifold does not bolt up to the intake.
I believe the numbers are stamped in to indicate oversizing during a rebuild (or factory change). That's all I got. I'm sure the motor-specialist can tell you when they sign in.
