Hi there,
I just become an owner of a 1969 GT and I am trying to find information about previous owners of the car. The car was originally sold in Germany and imported to Poland in 1988. Do you have any ideas on how can I gather information about the first and other owners?

Welcome Darek,
Maybe you could do a search of vehicle registrations in Poland to get some information. Post some information here about the car, color, VIN, anything unusual about it. We have over 4,300 members here. One of our European members may have some ideas.

I can easily locate the previous owners of my GT here in Poland. The first one was the lady, that sold me the car and before it was owned by a real enthusiast (unfortunately there is no way I could contact him any longer - he died a couple of years ago) who imported the car from Germany. I do not have any information (owner, license plate etc.) abiut the last owner in Germany, so I thought that the only option is to ask General Motors Europe about any helpful information. The only thing they send me is the production date and date of first registration. The last sentence was "We are sorry, but this is the only information we have in our system". Great, I think. It is rather unusual that the age of the car is quite... hmmm. Anyway, I would be proud to be a producer of such a beauty, especially when a number of people provided it with good care, so it is still looking and running well. The only thing I am looking for is the history of the car.
Guys, especially from Germany, do you have any ideas on how to proceed with the German owners search?
