Hi guy I was watching sleeper dude again since he made a new video about his kaddet. You have to watch this video. At 7 minutes the valve cover is taken off to see why it does turn over and it is completely rusted!

looks yummy. i once bought a manta rallye parts car and the previous had been adding a mug of water to the radiator twice a day for a year (due to cracked cylinder head) and one day it didn't start so it sat. Upon teardown i believe cylinders 2 and 3 were completely filling with water and then ejecting it when it would start. once dead it just sat there full of water. The oil came out looking like cake batter...golden brown and thick.

FWIW, the engine in my blue GT was worse than the one in the OP when I got it. It sat out under a tree for at least ten years, according to the guy I bought it from.
I did rebuild it. I had to hammer out the pistons, have the cylinders bored, head rebuild, etc. So the rust was all mechanically removed.

The point is, it wasn't exactly junk.
