I REALLY liked the Pertronics 3. It has built-in multi-spark and spark amplification, as well as, the rev limiter, which is really just a safety thing for jacked up engines. But the best part was the goof proof mounting and sensing. One screw and done, no adjustment needed. No rotor or spacer or problems with loose magnets. The 3's read the 4 lobes on the dizzy shaft.

My VW bus had a rev limiter built into the rotor... yes, I am never going to replace that Petronix unit with such a flaw that burns out the ignighter every time I leave the key on.....maybe a Petronix !! .....

71847V (July 2019) Review from Amazon - 5-Stars:
Purchased along with the flame thrower coil. Installed on my 1970 Opel GT 1.9L engine. Set the rev. limit to 6000 rpm, installed and fired right up. increased spark gap by .007" over Std. COMPLETELY GOT RID OF THE LOW RPM AND HIGH RPM MISFIRES !!!! Rev limiter works perfect !! Yes it is a bit pricy, but it is worth every dime !!! 1000% better than the original (which I am still running in my 1972 VW Bug). THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT !!!
