I'm trying to install a push button starter just for fun, but i would like to also keep the stock key ignition, so i would just connect the button to the connectors on the key ignition. Do i need a separate relay & fuse or is there one somewhere allready for the key ignition that will work just the same?

Thank you. :)

I didn't bother with tying into the steering column. Ran two 10 gage wires from the starter through the firewall to a momentary duck-bill switch in the dash. Then just turn the key to ignition, and hit the momentary switch.

Probably could have used a relay, but the Opel spins so easy and fires up so quick, I just didn't worry about the voltage loss. Probably could have fused it, but somewhere upstream it's fused.
