Another photo, this time by a real digital camera and a real photographer.

Here I'm getting ready to make the first right hand turn, so I'm doing a 'Scandinavian flick' to the left first to get the car to rotate in the muck.

what time did the two in the background set? i like the nobbly tires and roll bars

only teasing theres nothing like mud plugging to get you ready for the snow to come!:D

BTW, the tires we ran on the Ascona were Kumho R700 rally tires. They were awesome in the mud and muck. Size is 195/70-13. Very aggressive and open tread.

Yup. Got my nickname about 20 years ago from Richard 'Smitty' Smith, former owner of C & R Small Cars. I used to run errands for him in his company Opel wagon, and my favorite roads were usually the dirt ones that criss-crossed the town.
