I 'think' I did it by removing the taillights to get at it and fed the new hose up through the hole then attached it.
If you remove the side marker you can shine a light through it.



It has been awhile, so if I'm wrong (I did this to get at something), I apologize.:(

If you still have the back section of your GT torn apart--no is the time to take the tank out--it is not that hard. While it is out you can easily remove the fuel sock and check the fitting on the bottom of the tank that the rotton hose attaches too (mine was pretty rusty!) We also took the tanks to a radiator shop and had them flushed out.
