The transition to the new server was completed on 1/7. The Classic Opel Community and OpelGT.com are now hosted on a new super high speed server. (2520 mhz, 4,000 meg ram, 72 Gb, RAID for you techies)
Classic Opel Community and OpelGT.com are not hosted by a free web host service so you will never see a pop up window or those unrelated banner ads. A paid monthly fee includes 17gb of bandwidth (which is a tremendous amount for these sites), plenty of storage space for files, photos, and databases, and many features that will give us great flexibility as the community grows.
