A customer who came into the store i work at just let me borrow a 1974 GT service manual. Will this work (for the most part) on my '70? Please tell me yes!

OK...Yes.
There may be slight differences in the wiring diagrams and differential, but the rest should be the same.

I've heard that some '73's were sold in '74, but the last true model year was '73. Otherwise they'd have to comply with the large crash bumper laws, etc.

But back to the original point. The '74 GM manuals are specifically relevant to Manta, Ascona, and Ascona wagon owners. GT and Kadett owners need not apply!
