What is the easiest and best way to remove the existing stock shift knob on an Opel GT? I don't want to remove the whole lever and try the boiling water thing. I do have another knob that I want to install.
I agree with jared on this, pull your center console off, lift the boot, needle nose visegrips get the spring out, then pop the c-clip off the pin, and viola!
