I am putting the heater box back in today. I bought a new hose from Opel GT Source (check out the new redesigned webpage). The existing hose is a mess. There is a smaller bypass hose that I am not sure belongs. Also, I did not take pictures, nor remember which hose goes on top and which on the bottom.

Top is the feed hose and the bottom one is the return hose this is done so that the heater core doesn't become clogged

Thanks P.J. your picture will be used in a couple weeks to connect the heater back on my GT. The last thing I have to do. Got a new dash panel for the heater, new cables, new hoses, and a new valve. All I needed was to know how to put it together.

Your car used to have a water choke.

It won't hurt to leave the Tees in place.
Personally, I would remove them, and I have in the past. It makes for a cleaner engine compartment.

illusion with one hose, confusing with other end. hard to get my bearings straight. hahaha

How does the clip for the heater valve work?

How or where does the cable for the heater valve get clamped at the heater valve end?
