i wus looking in the classifieds and checked out that silver gt it is psoted as a 71 but has pop-out windows 72 and 73's had and it has the rims that were on the 72's and i dont believe that could be the origanal paint either jus my .02 cents

My 71GT has pop out quarters. My understanding is it was just the 69's that didn't. Correct me if I'm wrong. My wheels are also like his. Don't know about the color, Add said it was repainted in "81".

well in the ogts catalog for parts it staets that the rubber seals for the quarter windows on a 69 or 71 is diffrent from the ones for a 72-73 it also states in the description that the 69-71 rubber is the non-pop out window and 72-73 is pop-out.

Opening rear vent windows came out in the '71 model year, as did the 15 hole wheels. GT's built after August '70 are considered a '71 model year. Mine is a '71 built in October 1970, and has both. For the Definitive Guide, go to:
