do I need to get a basic general motors kit or do I have to get one for some off the wall car and see if it fits? Need help I have no wheels and so much to do.

any suggestions would be nice.

It would help if we knew what slave cylinder and what does it operate. To my knowledge, and it's limited to the GTs, there are no slave cylinders in the RWD Opels.

i belive he is refering to the rear brake system, i owuld jus buy new slave cylinders since it would cost bout the same to rebuild them to just buy some already re-built.

New cylinders are 45 to 55 each depending on vendor. Rebuild kits are 16 to 18 again depending on vendor, thats a pretty big difference. I just went down that road with mine.

well were i purchased my stuff i get it at wholesale price thank god for whole sale licneses and it wus a couple bucks diffrent for already rebuilt or new ones or the rebuild kits. also i got rotors and front caliper rebild kits for pretty cheap i think the rotors were under 20 a piece and the rebuild kits were around 8 or 9 bucks.
