Also may have 2 or 3, 2.4L / 2.6L Rotating assemblies ( Crank, rods, pistons, rings ) shortly ( Again price not a 100% known). But the cranks and rods will be modified to go into any 1.9L Block that has been bored to 2.0L. Guessing. Looking at about $1300-$1900 for thoe ( Depending on if you want new pistons or new rings on tested 2.4L Pistons.
Last but not least have a 2.0L Crank, rod and piston set used ( Should have the bearings as well ) - $800.

NOW that said.. there's a catch ( Isnt there is always a catch.. ) its a R25 NOT a Getrag 240.
Easier to get, BUT larger also beefier. Told they will fit Manta fairly well and possibly Kadett ( With AT tunnel .. Hmmm �� ).
BUT with GT they can not fit well UNLESS you have removed the headlight actuator. Also the install has not been documented much anywhere as far as I can find so you maybe the first.
The modification of the shifter would be similar to the Getrag mod. Made for the 6 cylinder CIH motors and easier to find. Needless to say for the right individual this would go great behind a 2.6L ( More on that project soon ).
Also one other thing.. for ****s and giggles.. if anyone wants to see pictures of all the engine builds and mods I have done here you go..
One other thing to remember with the R25, R28 and R25-R28 is that most, if not all six cylinder gearboxes used a hydraulic clutch. As far as I know, of the CIH boxes only the C24NE versions had a mechanical cable clutch. https://www.opel-infos.de/technik/getriebe/r5.html
I recently picked up a complete powertrain from a 300ZX for cheap, and after doing some quick measurements it should fit, but I was wondering if any of y'all have done/heard of a swap like this? Thanks for the info.
