Most of us are maintaining and fixing Opels ourselves. Some operations can be done easier with special tools. Through the years I made several of these tools to make my Opel life easier. Here are some. I am sure that others will have similar home made tools.

I used to have a special chopped down box wrench for the manifold to block bolts.

I'm going to offer up a nice multi-purpose tool.
It's a bender I got from Harbor freight long ago.

Say you need a hanger or a piece of metal bent just right.
This is the tool! Now if you want to bend say a replacement muffler hanger like this?

It's easy to machine the dies or have them machined to do the bends.

I placed mine in the basement with heavy duty bolts in the concrete.

Looks very similar to the one I have for my 38/38 Weber. The idle screw on the "inside" is a challenge.
