Come on out and join the crowd. I have been the only Opel in the show the last two years, but lets change that. Sorry for the late notice, but registration ends August 31. The show is September 11, 2004.
Let me know if you plan on attending, so we can park together. You really should preregister if you plan on bringing a car. Last year a nice little Kadett Wagon did not preregister and showed up all shined and ready to go and got turned away because the showfield was full :(
Hope to see someone else there. I will probably just be taking the GT this year, and not the Sportwagon. I can only take one, and the GT just gets more attention.
Oh, and on the registration put "Texas Opel Club" for club you wish to park with.

I have been informed that this year they have a lot more spaces. They will be taking registration up to and including the day of the show.
See the site for details.

I would love nothing more than to get my GT there, only if it was mobile. This restoration is taking so long! :( All in all I am hoping to have it done for next year's show. I wish I could join you and show off what great cars are under the Opel badge.

Well I had a great time at the car show. A friend, Roy Nolan, who has 5 GT's with none running right now decided he would go with me. I got him to drive the Sportwagon so there were two Opels at this years show!!
Got up to about 95 degrees. Had a couple beers in the shade. I saw this lady over by my car writing something down, so I walked over to her and said hello. She asked it it was my car and when I said yes, she told me that her son had two GT's and a bunch of parts at her house that he is not going to restore. Are you interested in them? Of COURSE!!
So, we'll see what this turns up. :D
