I'm going to try to start my car tomorrow. I powered her up tonight, left front turn signal not working, right rear turn signal not working, Gas tank is empty and it reads 1/2 tank. Can anyone explain this?????. It has a brand new sending unit in the tank.

I'll let you know how everything turns out.....(I hope it start with no problems, but that is wishful thinking)

If your gas guage is like mine you have to tap on the guage to get it to come off of empty.only have to do this once when I first start the car and it works for the rest of the day.

When I removed/remounted my blinkers I had a lot of trouble getting and keeping the front blinker "casing" grounded to the body. I know the ground wire is attached to the blinker case not the bulb socket. With the new paint the casing might not be grounded.

Check with ohm to make sure it is grounded and the striped wire is hot when blinker is on.
