Ever have one of those days when everything goes right?

I stayed away from the computer today and did some work on my red GT. Dropped the front end out for a rebuild and everything came out with very little effort. Everytime I reached into my tool box, the right socket or wrench came out. All the bolts came out real easy. Put it on a set of dollys, spun it 180° and got ready to drop the rear end. (finally going to get rid of that bearing noise) Ahh, it is so nice to finally have a garage to work in.... :D

I hear you Gary, it was 12 degrees here for the high today. I spent the whole day in my shop at 60 degrees. Installed a pertronix ignition in my 70 Gt. I'm still machining the new holder for the flame thrower coil. I could have bought one for a few bucks but I was in no particular hurry, just enjoyed the day in peace and quite. No noise to hear but the mill making big pieces of metal into little pieces of metal. Life is good.:D

Ah.......I've had the almost same day. Been sick for over a week. Today Ifelt like fighting XP again and finally got it to except a new (old) ISDN router. After 2 months of 40k or less speeds, it took. Then when I wasn't watching, it actually kicked in the 2nd line. My garage isn't finished yet, still got holes in the walls. I got my GT in there, but she has got to wait for the latest batch of winter to pass. One thing at a time.:(

ME TOO!
Got under the GT, where I had the Getrag "wedged" in place, but not "in". Grabbed it, started wiggling, and POOF, it slipped into the clutch plate! Bolts when it fairly easily too.

The Opel stars must have been in alinment!
