DCN*** footprint

Anyone know if a Weber 40 DCNVH downdraft carb will work on a GT?
Thanks, Wes
Nope, footprint (mounting flange bolt hole spacing) is different . . . larger.

does the DCNVH have the same mounting hole spacing as the 2 barrell holly carbs? there are carb adapters available to make those carbs fit to the stock intake, so maybe that'd be an option if you had a way to figure out hood clearance issues.

Just found my earlier post with actual DCNF/DGxV footprint dimensions compared.

Brick Wall

We have enough trouble using DGxV carbs - even though there is heaps of info here.
Trying to use a DCN leaves you on your own - building a brick wall to bash your head against!
Keep looking for a nice DG .... Less trouble in the long run.;)

AMEN!!

Unless you are a master fabricator, I can count those on one hand here, don't even think about doing some oddball one-off. It'll just end up as another project started and never finished . . . there are enough of those. You'll be much happier with getting the car running reliably so you and others in your area can enjoy it.
