I really miss the carb cleaners of the 60s. MEK based IIRC, which you can still buy from chemical outlets. Nasty stuff though. Don’t breathe it, burns when touching it, melts nitrile gloves, extremely flammable, but boy it works. Nothing cleans parts like that.
