One would be better off with a new one from OGTS. That tank is full of rust I would wager.

 

Why would you say it's full of rust?
The tank I had, that had been in storage for 35 years, didn't have any rust in it at all.

 

Yeah I have a tank in my 69 GT that I got from a guy that stored it for 40 yrs and it looked brand new inside. And I have other tanks laying around that look brand new.

 

So no NOS parts for you only re-pops ... ok thats cool

FWIW, I had a MC that had a tank full of rust.
I recently sold that bike with a rust-free tank.
No, I didn't replace the tank. I eliminated the rust. Wasn't too difficult and the cost was less than $50 plus I still have enough of the base chemicals to do a few more MC tanks if I needed.
