With all the discussion about wheel and tire sizes for stock and Steinmetz flared GTs, I though I would build a spreadsheet that calculated all the numbers we crave. Perhaps this already exists in part in other places but I hope this serves the Opel community well!
Included on the spreadsheet are some helpful illustrations and notes at the bottom. You can enter all the tire and wheel specs and the table will calculate the diameters, sidewall height, inner and outer dimensions of the wheel and tire edges relative to the Wheel Mounting Surface (WMS). The latter is particularly important to me and why I created this chart. For those of us adding the Steinmetz flares, I wanted to know what combinations would put the outer edge of the tire in the proper spot. Those flares typically add 1.75" to each side or 3.5" in total width. Column N allows you to play with different axle widths and see if the wheels and tires you really want can be used. I'm going to get a axle custom sized anyway and this way I can pick very common wheel sizes and assure a good fit.
Please let me know if I can improve upon this tool or if you have any questions.
Edit: So I guess I can't upload an Excel file. So here is a screen shot of the Excel sheet. If an Admin knows how to upload and make available for all, that would be helpful. Otherwise I'm happy to send to anyone via PM or FB.
